Perrier-Jouët Celebrates 200 years with a Toast to Beautiful Moments in TIFF History

The Toronto International Film Fesitval (TIFF), is right around the corner. In exactly one week, Toronto will be the host of over 300 films from over 60 countries. With film screenings, parties galore and celebrity sightings, Toronto will be one busy hot spot.

In celebration of TIFF, Perrier-Jouët hosted a pre-festival celebration at Nota Bene for their 200th anniversary, which also features a photo exhibit by George Pimentel. Although Pimentel is often spotted behind the lens, he is recognized as a Canadian celebrity photographer. The exhibit features 44 photographs each selected by Pimentel himself. The photographs are showcased at Nota Bene at 180 Queen Street, which is transformed into a Champagne lounge for the duration of the festival.

“Every year, we are delighted welcome the world to Toronto to showcase the best in Canadian and International cinema,” said Piers Handling, Director and CEO of TIFF, who posed for a Champagne toast photo for media at the event. “Since its inception in 1976, the Festival has attracted many of the world’s greatest filmmakers and actors, generating beautiful and timeless images and memories.”

As Toronto prepares, we are seeing the red carpets roll out and the limousines roll in. Which film/celebrity are you most excited for?
