Yeah, you heard me, Boot It UP! What does that mean exactly? On Thursday October 1st you can attend the 6th Annual Boot It Up! a fundraising event at the Steam Whistle Brewery. As much as TorontoModa loves fashion, we also love art. “Boot It UP! is a key annual fundraiser which allows SKETCH to offer opportunities for young people who are street-involved or homeless, or considered to be at risk,” says Phyllis Novak, artistic director, SKETCH - a local community arts initiative that creates opportunities for street-involved and homeless youth to engage in the arts. Tickets are $40 in advance and $50 at the door and all the proceeds from the evening are going to SKETCH. The festivities begin at 7pm and guests can win prizes from Mountain Equipment Co-op, Kiehls, Google and the Gladstone Hotel. Fundraising, fashion, footwear and fun - do you have your ticket yet?
