Sitting on 98 Kenmare St. in NoLita (North of Little Italy)- for those unfamilar with Manhattan neighborhoods - this local hotspot opened in February '10 during NYC fashion week. This Mediterrean restaurant co-owned by two of the coolest NYC restaurenteurs Paul Sevigny (yes, DJ & Chloe Sevignys brother) & Nur Khan, known for Beatrice Inn/Don Hill's and Rose Bar/Sway/Don Hill's respectively.
I ordered the entree of the day: Pan seared skate wings with Lobster Risotto paired with the Sancerre and it was delish! At about 10pm the downstairs lounge opens at becomes a hub for vintage-clad hipster playing classic 1950's rock'n'roll. This resto emulates what I love about New York City- dining, dancing, drinks, friendly crowd, and great music all in one venue.
