On December 1st, television screens were bombarded with 6ft tall tanned glamazons, and men and women alike sat down in awe to watch the spectacle. I’m not talking about basketball here, but rather, the 2009 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, which made a triumphant return back to NYC. The Victoria’s Secret angels, which included Alessandra Ambrosio, Miranda Kerr, Doutzen Kroes, Heidi Klum, and more, walked for the holiday infused lingerie show, which incorporated three sexy themes - Star Trooper, Pink Planet, and Enchanted Forest.
The Star Trooper looks were futuristic, and the lingerie looked appropriate for either the bedroom, or galactic battle. Pink Planet featured a bevy of comfy sweats, peace sign bra’s and loads of pom-poms, while Enchanted Forest was, simply put, ethereal and romantic.The show also included performances by the Black Eyed Peas, red-carpet interviews, model profiles, a model competition, and the $3 million Harlequin Fantasy bra, worn by Marissa Miller and designed by renowned Italian jeweler Damiani.
