Plaid is Never Outdated When Burberry is Around

In 1856, Thomas Burberry brought us water-resistant fashions. They were so practical(and fashionable) that the trench coats were adopted by war officers. Now fast forward to 2009 - If you take a look around, you’ll hardly see any of our officers wearing Burburry plaid. But that doesn’t mean it’s any less practical or more importantly, any less fashionable.

Last night, Burberry celebrated the opening of their new 9000 sq.ft. two story flagship store on Bloor Street. Their second store in Toronto. The store combined both contemporary design with intrinsic British themes. It carries a full range of ready-to-wear for both men and women from Burberry Prorsum, Burberry London, Burburry Brit, Burberry Sport, children's wear and accessories.

The doors are open and they’re waiting for you. If you need a reason to go check out the store, you can call it Christmas shopping. It can even be for yourself - nobody has to know!
