Halloween Ghosts

Halloween, A time where kids would run door to door screaming for treats and filling their pillow sacks full of candy. These days you hardy see kids out side! Have they become too lazy, or have parents decided to just keep them in doors?
Have Parties replaced the fun of being outside and experiencing the fresh fall air of hollows eve? This year on the 31st of October, kids were sparse and there were buckets of candy still left over. What has happened to the spirit of Halloween? Are kids no longer kids? Or has Halloween become faux pas?
