Accessorize with Make Up!

Fall and winter are the seasons where blacks and grays are taking over the town. With such drab colours, we have to find a way to add a splash of colour to any outfit. Why not accessorize with make up?

Now, don’t go running out to buy bright green eyeshadow or purple mascara, that isn’t the idea I was going for. I was thinking more on the lines of a red lip or some pink blush. A red lip(or pink, for those of us less daring), can be enough to create a finished look. The pop of colour stands out while maintaining subtlety when paired with a simple face – no smoky eyes or bright eyeshadow allowed with these looks!

If your lips aren’t the asset
you want to highlight, try blush. Those that know me, know that I don’t live without my Mac Dollymix blush(pictured right). When you see the compact, it looks VERY pink but on the skin it creates a very natural flushed look. Blush can add some contour to enhance cheekbones and it creates a youthful appearance.

Keep the nude lip in the summer when the clothes are bright; in the colder seasons, use some bright colours to warm things up!
