Converse's Fall/Winter 2011 Line


The 2011 Converse showcase was held in Toronto’s trendy west end, the decor was all white and sparse making this year’s collection really standout.

This season sees Converse put a twist on their standard silhouettes, experimenting with different fabrics, finishes and colour. The original One- Star Converse sneaker made a comeback with a twist sporting a suede finish in the classic fall shades, chocolate and wheat. The sneakers were lined with a stylish plaid pattern, emphasizing the strong attention to detail that is prevalent throughout the collection.

Across the Converse line you see their traditional looks updated with unique detailing. The moc toe boot design with a waxed canvas finish shows off Chuck Taylor’s outdoorsy comfortable style to a tee. With the combat boot sustaining its popularity in today’s fashion scene Converse delivered in this department with a variety of styles. Starting with the All Star buckled mid calf leather design, sleek and simple built for city comfort. To the rugged Chuck Taylor nubuck boot, evoking the need to plan an outdoors adventure.

The show finished with the unveiling of their new accessories line of sporty bags, hats and scarves, maintaining that laid back style Converse do oh so well!

Once again they brought the creative combo of unique materials, hip patterns and high end quality together successfully. Over the years Converse have created a lifestyle brand for the everyday boy and girl, ensuring they are comfortably dressed for all terrains in life.
