Last weekend mother-daughter owners Teresa and Melissa Leiva hosted the grand opening of their boutique nail bar in Liberty Village named NOIR Nail Bar. The salon - open since Feb 2011 - is a contemporary, functional space that features both pampering and essential services such as: makeup, nails, and waxing. NOIR Nail Bar sticks to only a few trusted brands: OPI polishes, and yes- Shellac by CND!. I had the opportunity to try out OPI's new "Shatter" polish.. awesome. Melissa Leiva explained there was a need for for an upscale salon in Liberty Village where customers can feel the equipment is sterile, staff are well-trained, and have an overall luxurious experience.
