Sky high heels are all the rage. Everything is tricking down(from haute couture) – although, when it reaches the consumer level, it’s slightly more wearable. In Alexander McQueen’s Spring 2010 show, we saw 10 inch heels(pictured left), which are also spotted on Lady Gaga in her music video Bad Romance. Some would consider these art, or even a weapon, but not quite a wearable shoe. But I must give the models credit, I couldn’t imagine walking down a runway in those.
Christian Louboutin isn’t missing a beat(when does he ever?). He recently launched his 5.5 inch crystal stiletto which is a take on the traditional champagne flute(pictured right). Okay, so 5.5 inches is no match for McQueens 10, but they are still amazing nonetheless. Images courtesy of Style.com
